Regular Season Round 14: San German - Manati 108-87

Date: May 11, 2026
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Atleticos as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Atleticos smashed 5th ranked Osos in San German 108-87. San German held Manati to an opponent 16.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.6 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Manati 44-32 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. San German looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Manati's players. Naturalized American center Antonio Gordon (206-2001, college: Oklah.Christian) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 7 rebounds. American center Montrezl Harrell (203-1994, college: Louisville) contributed with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Kristian Doolittle (201-1997, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with 22 points and 6 rebounds and the former international swingman Tyquan Rolon (192-1995, college: LeMoyne) added 18 points in the effort for Manati. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atleticos have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Manati at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Ponce. Manati will play next round against strong Guaynabo trying to get back on the winning streak. San German will try to continue on its current victory against first ranked Bayamon at home.
